January 21, 2013. 205: Final fit and finish of the last tail section. Bear with us as the final work on the tail section is completed before it is riveted into a finished piece. There will be smaller posts related to work in other areas of this project coming along as they're completed. Stay tuned.

January 25, 2013. 206: Finishing touches on the carrier and the power package.

February 2, 2013. 207: Riveting the tail skin to the subframe. This section has demanded a ton of work. This final riveting leaves only the file finishing of the rivets before it is finished. Jason Hosking and Jim Hume work in close quarters to set these rivets.

February 10, 2013. 208: Finishing the tail and a visit with Danny Thompson.

February 22, 2013. 209: Hume's last piece of tail.

March 1, 2013. 210: Rat's shop tour photos. The Bonneville NW Reunion crowd got a tour of Marlo's shop. Rat wandered aimlessly shooting off his camera from time to time. A good time was had by all.

March 10, 2013. 211: The tail section is finally finished. After years and years, the last part of the liner left Hume's shop. The last section of the body has been finished and Hume's job has come to an end. Words are insufficient to convey the message of "a job well done." Thanks, Jim.

March 28, 2013. 212: The composite wheel fairings were made by Frank Martinez. These will be used when the record attempts occur. This just about completes the transportation of all of the parts from Washington to Oregon. I just couldn't resist doing some detail shots of the panels. It felt like old home week. The car will be on display at the Portland, Oregon Swap Meet April 5, 6 and 7. T-shirts, decals and posters will be on sale there.

April 12, 2013. 213: At the Portland Swap Meet. http://www.portlandswapmeet.com A whole lot of interested visitors came by to see the liner, discuss the car and buy some t-shirts.

September 12, 2013. 219: As much as any race car is ever done, this car is ready to run. Certainly there will be changes made on it but it is, as far as we know, ready to test in preparation for record attempts.

September 24, 2013. 220: Among the really choice pieces of the Treit and Davenport streamliner are the injector bodies. When one was removed from the car Freud had a chance to do fotos that were never available before.
